2Corinthians

1:1Paul，antleofJesusChristbythewillofGod，andTimothyourbrother，untothechurchofGodwhichisatCorinth，withallthesaintswhichareinallAchaia:

1:2GracebetoyouandpeacefromGodourFather，andfromtheLordJesusChrist.

1:3BlessedbeGod，eventheFatherofourLordJesusChrist，theFatherofmercies，andtheGodofallfort;

1:4Whofortethusinallourtribulation，thatwemaybeabletofortthemwhichareinanytrouble，bythefortwherewithweourselvesarefortedofGod.

1:5ForasthesufferingsofChristaboundinus，soourconsolationalsoaboundethbyChrist.

1:6Andwhetherwebeafflicted，itisforyourconsolationandsalvation，whichiseffectualintheenduringofthesamesufferingswhichwealsosuffer:orwhetherwebeforted，itisforyourconsolationandsalvation.

1:7Andourhopeofyouisstedfast，knowing，thatasyearepartakersofthesufferings，soshallyebealsooftheconsolation.

1:8Forwewouldnot，brethren，haveyouignorantofourtroublewhichcametousinAsia，thatwewerepressedoutofmeasure，abovestrength，insomuchthatwedespairedevenoflife:

1:9Butwehadthesentenceofdeathinourselves，thatweshouldnottrustinourselves，butinGodwhichraiseththedead:

1:10Whodeliveredusfromsogreatadeath，anddothdeliver:inwhomwetrustthathewillyetdeliverus;

1:11Yealsohelpingtogetherbyprayerforus，thatforthegiftbestoweduponusbythemeansofmanypersonsthanksmaybegivenbymanyonourbehalf.

1:12Forourrejoicingisthis，thetestimonyofourconscience，thatinsimplicityandgodlysincerity，notwithfleshlywisdom，butbythegraceofGod，wehavehadourconversationintheworld，andmoreabundantlytoyou-ward.

1:13Forwewritenoneotherthingsuntoyou，thanwhatyereadoracknowledge;andItrustyeshallacknowledgeeventotheend;

1:14Asalsoyehaveacknowledgedusinpart，thatweareyourrejoicing，evenasyealsoareoursinthedayoftheLordJesus.

1:15AndinthisconfidenceIwasmindedtoeuntoyoubefore，thatyemighthaveasecondbenefit;

1:16AndtopassbyyouintoMacedonia，andtoeagainoutofMacedoniauntoyou，andofyoutobebroughtonmywaytowardJudaea.

1:17WhenIthereforewasthusminded，didIuselightness?orthethingsthatIpurpose，doIpurposeaccordingtotheflesh，thatwithmethereshouldbeyeayea，andnaynay?

1:18ButasGodistrue，ourwordtowardyouwasnotyeaandnay.

1:19FortheSonofGod，JesusChrist，whowaspreachedamongyoubyus，evenbymeandSilvanusandTimotheus，wasnotyeaandnay，butinhimwasyea.

1:20ForallthepromisesofGodinhimareyea，andinhimAmen，untothegloryofGodbyus.

1:21NowhewhichstablishethuswithyouinChrist，andhathanointedus，isGod;

1:22Whohathalsosealedus，andgiventheearnestoftheSpiritinourhearts.

1:23MoreoverIcallGodforarecorduponmysoul，thattospareyouIcamenotasyetuntoCorinth.

1:24Notforthatwehavedominionoveryourfaith，butarehelpersofyourjoy:forbyfaithyestand.

2:1ButIdeterminedthiswithmyself，thatIwouldnoteagaintoyouinheaviness.

2:2ForifImakeyousorry，whoishethenthatmakethmeglad，butthesamewhichismadesorrybyme?

2:3AndIwrotethissameuntoyou，lest，whenIcame，IshouldhavesorrowfromthemofwhomIoughttorejoice;havingconfidenceinyouall，thatmyjoyisthejoyofyouall.

2:4ForoutofmuchafflictionandanguishofheartIwroteuntoyouwithmanytears;notthatyeshouldbegrieved，butthatyemightknowthelovewhichIhavemoreabundantlyuntoyou.

2:5Butifanyhavecausedgrief，hehathnotgrievedme，butinpart:thatImaynotoverchargeyouall.

2:6Sufficienttosuchamanisthispunishment，whichwasinflictedofmany.

2:7Sothatcontrariwiseyeoughtrathertoforgivehim，andforthim，lestperhapssuchaoneshouldbeswallowedupwithovermuchsorrow.

2:8WhereforeIbeseechyouthatyewouldconfirmyourlovetowardhi

2:9FortothisendalsodidIwrite，thatImightknowtheproofofyou，whetheryebeobedientinallthings.

2:10Towhomyeforgiveanything，Iforgivealso:forifIforgaveanything，towhomIforgaveit，foryoursakesforgaveIitinthepersonofChrist;

2:11LestSatanshouldgetanadvantageofus:forwearenotignorantofhisdevices.
