1:1TheRevelationofJesusChrist，whichGodgaveuntohim，toshewuntohisservantsthingswhichmustshortlyetopass;andhesentandsignifieditbyhisangeluntohisservantJohn:

1:3Blessedishethatreadeth，andtheythathearthewordsofthisprophecy，andkeepthosethingswhicharewrittentherein:forthetimeisathand.

1:4JohntothesevenchurcheswhichareinAsia:Gracebeuntoyou，andpeace，fromhimwhichis，andwhichwas，andwhichistoe;andfromthesevenSpiritswhicharebeforehisthrone;

1:19Writethethingswhichthouhastseen，andthethingswhichare，andthethingswhichshallbehereafter;

1:20Themysteryofthesevenstarswhichthousawestinmyrighthand，andthesevengoldencandlesticks.Thesevenstarsaretheangelsofthesevenchurches:andthesevencandlestickswhichthousawestarethesevenchurches.

2:1UntotheangelofthechurchofEphesuswrite;Thesethingssaithhethatholdeththesevenstarsinhisrighthand，whowalkethinthemidstofthesevengoldencandlesticks;

2:2Iknowthyworks，andthylabour，andthypatience，andhowthoucanstnotbearthemwhichareevil:andthouhasttriedthemwhichsaytheyaretles，andarenot，andhastfoundthemliars:

2:5Rememberthereforefromwhencethouartfallen，andrepent，anddothefirstworks;orelseIwilleuntotheequickly，andwillremovethycandlestickoutofhisplace，exceptthourepent.

2:6Butthisthouhast，thatthouhatestthedeedsoftheNicolaitanes，whichIalsohate.
